Is there a version of Ada for Linux?

Yes, GNAT, the GNU Ada compiler, is part of the gcc suite of compilers and is included in most distributions of Linux. You can also download GNAT from http://libre.act-europe.fr/GNAT/

A supported version of GNAT is available from AdaCore Technologies

Aonix also has a version of ObjectAda for Linux
