Great idea! I was a Science Fair judge for one at Eleanor Roosevelt HS a few years ago. One of the Grand Prize winners was a Wave Tank wave height sensor built using Mindstorm's Lego's. Unfortunately the software was done in C on a Mac. ;-(
Do you know how much a Lego interface kit, and sampling of sensors/actuators might cost? If you're willing to develop the Ada bindings, using something like GNAT and Linux or Windows I can probably find someone to donate $'s or the equipment.
I'd love to see a whole Lego controlled village or factory.
